The award-winning download manager for all versions of Windows including windows Vista has come out with a new version of the software after tuning it up. FlashGet has been rightly awarded for its excellent feature set. It uses the lowest of system resources and does not interfere in other processes.
FlashGet can be set to call the antivirus installed in your system to check the downloaded files once the download is complete. This saves user-time and helps in keeping the computer secure and clean. FlashGet 2.11 supports various protocols like HTTP, FTP, BT, RMTS and others. The switch between these protocols is seamless and the one touch download button does the magic. Users need not configure FlashGet for each download as it adjusts itself accordingly.
The new version comes with optimized BT download feature and the messy code in “new download” window has been fixed. Other minor improvements have also been introduced.
