Designed for mobiles running on Symbian software, the Ultra Mp3 1.52 is a user friendly tool that enables the user to listen to his/her favorite songs on hand held devices namely mobiles. The tool effectively loads all MP3 and OCG format files onto the mobile which can then be played by the user. In addition to providing support for MP3 and OCG formats, the tool is also able to load and play files pertaining to S3M, IT, and MOD formats to name a few. Apart from these formats, Ultra MP3 uses the module music format wherein the user can select from over thousands of module music that can be downloaded from the internet for free. An advantage of using module music compared to the traditional MP3 format is that the user is provided with numerous hours of music in spite of using a small memory sized mobile. The MMC cards developed these days have the provision to store one or two complete MP3 or OCG files on the mobiles.
In addition to providing a simple yet powerful user interface, Ultra Mp3 also has an inbuilt play list editor that enables the user to choose the songs to be heard. A specific play list can contain user favorite audio and can be reloaded later. Numerous in built skins are available for the user to choose from in addition to a skin editor that provides for customized features to be imported into the skins. Support is also provided to the user to create a skin manually.
