phpMyAdmin is a ten year old project with a stable and flexible code base. Among the awards won by this tool, the more prestigious ones include: “Best PHP Application” as well as “Best Tool or Utility for Data Base Admins”.
All the necessary documentation for the tool is provided in a book like format by one of the developers, which is also available in the languages: English, German, Spanish and Czech to name a few. The utility is written in PHP scripting language and aims at effectively handling the administration of MySQL databases over the internet.
