The software PC MACLAN gets its name from its purpose- it connects PC and Macintosh computers. This software will therefore enable you to share files over TCP/IP or AppleTalk on an Ethernet Network. PC MACLAN enables peer networking, connection through internet or modem, two directional file and printer sharing, file extension on mapping, and best of all compatibility of files between the two platforms. Its user friendliness and a wizard that takes you through the process of connecting and sharing files make the software functional for a new user. However PC MACLAN has its own set of limitations, for instance when you choose to print there is a watermark on the prints; or how it takes about 180 minutes to evaluate a copy.
