Pandora Recovery 2.1 is recovery software that recovers the permanently deleted files. Pandora Recovery is a very powerful recovery tool and it does not mean restoring files from recycle bin but the file which is permanently removed from recycle bin or by pressing Shift + Delete or files deleted from DOS prompt. Pandora Recovery is not a back up tool but a recovery tool which recovers the files deleted even before installing Pandora recovery 2.1 as it can recover the files for more than 5 years after deletion. When a file is deleted on FAT32 or NTFS file system, its content is not erased from disk but only reference to file data in File Allocation Table or Master File Table is marked as deleted which enables the user to recover the deleted files or make it visible again. Regardless of the file type it can recover the recoverable files through NRFS formatted volumes.

Pandora Recovery process includes scanning the hard drive and index of existing and deleted files and directories (folders) on any logical drive of computer with supported file format, after the scanning is completed over which file to recover and to which destination. The Search function can find a deleted file if user remembers either of the things; full or partial file name, file size, file creation date, or file last accessed date. Pandora Recovery enables images files with following types; BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, ICO,TIF, TGA, PCX, WBMP, WMF, JP2, J2K, JBG, JPC, PGX, PNM, RAS, CUR and text files with the following file types TXT, LOG, INI, BAT, RTF, XML, CSS without performing recovery. Quick Viewer function previews file content, to use quick viewer user can select deleted files or click the Quick Viewer icon or right click on deleted file and select ‘Quick View’. Quick View will then display a preview of deleted file.

Pandora Recovery 2.1 recovers archived, Hidden, Encrypted and Compressed files; Alternate Data Streams (ADS); Images, Documents, Movies, or any other type of files and success estimate. Pandora Recovery reviews File properties and Drive properties, recovers to Local Hard Drive, Network Drive, or Flash Drive and recognizes NTFS, NTFS5 and NTFS/EFS. It is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 and enables wizards, hints and context-sensitive help.

Pandora Recovery requires 233 Mhz Pentium processor or better, 64MB RAM, 4MB free hard drive space, Mouse, Internet Connection (dial-up modem, cable modem or DSL) for program updates and NTFS, NTFS5, NTFS+EFS file systems.
