Jetpack (Visual Basic 6.0)
Jetpack (Visual Basic 6.0) Review
Jetpack (Visual Basic 6.0) is a powerful collection of ten ActiveX controls which helps you enhance any Visual Basic 6.0 database application with very minimal coding. Set one or two properties, and you have features such as: a visual querying tool, table designer, database organizer, record find, and data import/export, among others.
Jetpack (Visual Basic 6.0) controls can be used by database developers to build a client application using Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual J++, Borland Delphi, Powersoft Powerbuilder, and Micro Focus Object Cobol, apart from other languages of their choice.
Jetpack controls are designed to be highly functional. For example:
1) Adding the Table Design control to your form at design time and a single line of code gives you all the functionality needed to create or modify a Jet database table including fields, indexes, properties and attributes.
2) Adding the Queryer control to an application and setting a couple of properties, gives you a fully- featured visual ad-hoc querying tool that allows users to interrogate a wide range of data sources without any knowledge of SQL.
Unlike conventional controls that are painted onto a form and integrated into the rest of an application, most of the Jetpack controls are not visible at runtime.
JetPack is designed for all versions of Windows.
