Inbit Messenger is a secure instant messaging software that allows the enterprise to reach new levels of collaboration with innovative features than any other standard enterprise IM package. Inbit Messenger shares files, images and screen shots that enhance the data flow for any organization. Inbit Messenger allows the user to chat with colleagues and share images of ant current activity with Inbit’s screen capture engine allowing full control and logging.
Inbit Messenger can send asynchronous messages and delivers files while the person is offline. Some of the key features of Inbit Messenger include instant messaging, public messaging, work group messaging, private messaging, chat rooms, public chat rooms, Internet Mail (I-Mail), sending I-Mail to public, sending I-mail to work groups, sending I-Mail to co-workers. Inbit Messenger includes file sharing, public file sharing, work group file sharing, file transfer, sending files and screen shots in offline mode, sending files and screen shots via online chat, permission based remote capture, capturing a remote co-worker’s screen, capturing a remote co-worker’s window, screen capture, full screen capture and region capture.
After the release of Inbit Messenger 4.2 added some more features in the software. IM administrator can set preferred time zone for history logs. New interface added for assigning a user to multiple departments. New projects filter so the users can decide what projects to display. Project start/target dates auto-adjustment when task dates change. Task comment length increased form 240 characters to 10KB. New I-Mail notice added for task reopening and new I-Mail notice also added for project completion. Much more improvements are made on the Web client IMA, IMC and IMS.
