EZ Intranet Messenger (ezim) is for internal communication. Server is not required to sign in as long as IP address from DCHP server (network support multicast) is available. All other users within the same network segment can be communicated in this condition too. A very handy product to use on local area connection as admin is allowed on simple messenger service to the members without the need to add more servers which makes their life a lot easier.

Ezim works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and other operating systems which have Java Runtime Environment Version 1.6.x. Its features are private instant messaging service, online status notification, file transmission, and real time public chat. In the ezim 1.1.2 version date manipulation is improved, error handling is strengthen, Portuguese translation is added, many other changes are also made.
