eMeSeNe 1.0.1 Review :
A tool that tries to replicate the look and functionality of the MSN messenger, eMeSeNe 1.0.1 is developed be the eMeSeNe developer team with the code name of “deadbeef”. Using python/gtk technologies, eMeSeNe is a simple MSN Messenger Clone with an attractive look and features. The new version has only a few added enhancements than its contemporaries mainly in the area of bug fixtures. In this case, some of the bugs found in older versions include: server rejection of some msn servers, issues in hex number and application id which are all rectified in version 1.0.1. Translations have also been updated suitably. With eMeSeNe 1.0.1, which uses the MSN library (msnlib) functions, users can login, send and receive messages, change status and nicknames, and other related tasks that can be performed on a normal MSN messenger. However, eMeSeNe does not provide support for the use of emoticons, picture display and the transfer of files.
