Edcet serves as the entrance test conducted for admission into B.ed/d.ed and M.Ed in the private / university/ government colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2009-10.

The eligibility of Ed.Cet-2009 is for students who have completed B.A./ B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.C.A./ B.B.M /B.Sc ( Home science ) from the universities in Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent. Candidates appearing for final degree exams are also eligible to apply and appear on Ed.Cet-2009.
