Every query that the DB Cache plugin caches has a particular lifetime. The working of DB Cache is very different from that of other caching systems as the DB Cache plugin does not cache the HTML output of WordPress. Instead the DB Cache caches the WordPress’s MYSQL queries to a file. Because of this, less space is used for caching and the performance of the DB Cache plugin alongwith the WordPress blog goes many times faster.
