The Compaq Presario V3000 is one of the newest in HP’s line up of consumer notebooks offering a strong set of features that a basic home user will want for a competitive price.

HP launches a new look and feel for its Presario line of laptops with its Compaq Presario V3000. Deviating from its regular silver deign of previous Presario models the V3000 Notebook comes in dark gray and subtly pinstriped with a high-glossy finish which as per HP is scratch resistant.

Apart from the looks the rest of the components on the plate remain the same, that is, it comes with a strong set of features that a basic home user will want for a competitive price. The updated ante due to the V3000s processor options can easily be configured with wither an Intel Core Solo or Core Duo or, when it debuts, AMD’s dual-core processor.
