The latest on the block is the Compaq Presario C700 Notebook series which is gaining popularity among students due to its low price. This series is powered with Intel Dual Core Processor with 1GB DDR2 System memory which may be a little less with Vista working on the laptop. The C700 Notebook PC series with black colour and stylish Compaq symbol in metal on the front provide for its style statement. The streamlined aluminium chassis with tech-driven style and durable protection add to provide a wonderful experience. The LEDs which provide for blue/orange colour theme which are placed near the touchpad LED on the touchpad bezel, CAPS and Scroll LEDs add to the experience.
Presario c700 software bundle includes Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, Braodcom/WLAN, Fujitsu 120GB Hard Drive, Optiarc DVD and a one-year HP Acciendtal Damage Protection with Pickup and return facility. The bottom has two user removeable covers. The first covers the hard drive and the second has the CPU, both RAM slots, and the Broadcom wireless card. The C700 series come with built-in microphone above the screen which add to the comfort for skype or other VOIP applications.
